I don’t know where to start… <was getting away for a bit of a run on a working Saturday> …was already reflective at the time and kind of always am so…
Thank you all for following your passions and making a difference!
Hearing just your voice Hailey - without being with you in person at the shop or around town - is arresting and brings me absolute joy. Not unlike hearing ID’s story book voice for the first time and Jan Johnsen’s voice again - here on Substack. All unique and lovely. :)
You, Katie and Victoria have great things ahead!!! This was magical fun. Please keep leading with your hearts.
We can change the world.
We can move the needle.
We are so not alone.
I’ve come to the realization that sustainability is not something with a finish line. There’s no ‘win’. It is a constant state of being. Of well-being. Of being in the moment. Being ready for the task at hand through ongoing study, in whatever way we may, no matter the outcome…
I’ve ‘lost’ so many times whilst stepping out of my professional boxes. I was missing the point. Stepping out has made all the difference.
I’ve also written waaay too much here. Sorry.
PS Love the shoutout to Mario!
PPS I’m attending to landscape architectural design and regional scale development projects - trying my best to champion sustainability and ecology therein.
This is excellent and a must listen! I love the inside look into your lives and the bookshop. I am excited to learn more about bugs and environmental therapy.
This month I am attending to my daughters and helping them get ready for school. I am working on sharing Joy. Now I will be reading Upstream!
Love this, ladies, and I'm so excited to listen and grow along with you three. I shall now answer your question about what I'm attending to the past month, because for the first time in a very long time I feel like I have an answer that makes me happy. I have been attending to poetry as I joined a summer workshop to focus more on my creative writing and I have loved the renewed sense of fulfillment that comes from artistic creation.

Excellent podcast! I look forward to more to come.
